The Help Menu

You can access this online help guide directly from within the application by clicking on the "Online Help Guide" Menu option.

1. The About Resource Box

The RSS Advantage Newsticker Free Edition is usually brought to you by licensed branded distribution partners. You can find out more about your sponsor and the current version number of the software that you are running by clicking on the About Menu.

In the top left of the window you will see your sponsor's logo.

The top right corner contains the current version number of the software you are currently running.

Below the logo's you will see the name of the web site or person that has sponsored the software and below that the web site URL of the sponsor.

You will also see your name and information as soon as you have registered the software.

Click on the 'OK' button to close the window.

2. Submitting Feedback & Support

The "Submit Feedback and Support" menu option enables you to contact us directly. You can send your feedback anonymously if you wish - although we'd really like to get to know you. If you do enclose your name and email address they will not be sold or rented to anyone. And they will not be added to an auto-responder sequence or mailing list of any kind.

Please note that we try to answer all requests as soon as possible and there are times when we are completely inundated with feedback requests. At times like these owners of the NewsMaster Edition always receive higher priority than Free Edition owners.

a. Topic

This is where you can select the topic of your feedback. The options available are:

  • Help! I need support on ...
    Use this option to request support on an issue.
  • I have a question
    Use this option to ask a burining question that you may have on your mind.
  • I want to see this feature in the future
    Use this option to suggest a feature that you would like to see in a future version of the software.
  • I think I found a bug!
    Use this option to submit a software defect that you may have encountered.
  • I don't like this software because
    If you don't like the software please let us know why. We can't improve it without your feedback.
  • I have an unsolicited testimonial for you
    ANY and ALL of these are welcome. You may even see your name appearing on the web site (with your permission of course).
  • I just want to say `Thanks`
    If you have found the software helpful and useful we'd like to hear from you. It is extremely good to know if we have made a difference in your life with out software.
  • Take this important message to your leader!
    If you can't find a topic that fits in any of the previous seven, use this one.

b.  Subject

Fill in the subject of your message here. The Topic above identifies the category of your message, and the subject identifies the actual contents of your message. Feedback with a descriptive subject line always gets opened sooner than those without a subject.

c. Your Message

Type in your message here.

d. Your Name

Your name is important to us. It reminds us that we are receiving a message from a human being.

e. Your email address

As stated in the screen shot if you would like to receive a response to your feedback please enter your email address. 

Note: If you use a Yahoo, GMail, Microsoft Live! (Hotmail) or any other free email address there is ABSOLUTELY no guarantee that you will receive our response. 

These email services may block our response on a whim and without notice to you. Please add the RssAdvantage.com domain name to your whitelist if you have no other email address.

f. Sending your feedback

When your message is ready click on the "Send" button to send your request. The form is submitted directly to our web server and forwarded on to the appropriate support person.
